BYMNE - Sauma puspa incense

€19,95

In Bali, the forest is never just a forest. It is watched over.

Held in balance by forces older than any temple built to contain them.

The Lord of the Forest, the guardian spirit embodied in Barong Ket — the most sacred of Bali's living masks. In his fierce form, he is Krodha. In his peaceful name, spoken only inside the temple's inner sanctum, he is Saumya: the same force, refined and held in stillness.

This is rwa bhineda — not as philosophy, but as practice. The understanding that balance is not the absence of the fierce. It is the fierce, held wisely.

Two states. One guardian. Neither good nor evil alone.

Every time this duo is worn, that understanding is carried forward — not as symbol, but as something felt.

Ingredients

Tectona Grandis (Teak) Wood Powder, Santalum Album (Cendana) Wood Powder, Cinnamomum Iners (Kayu Teja) Wood Powder, Cempaka Essential Oil, Lotus Essential Oil

  • Store away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep upright. Burn in a holder, away from surfaces and anything flammable. Never leave unattended.

    The Ritual

Place your holder before you light the stick. Choose where the smoke will rise — a corner, a windowsill, a surface that belongs to no one task in particular.

Light the tip. Wait five seconds. Put out the flame gently, and set the stick in its holder.

Then step back. Let the scent arrive before you do anything else.
